Quintessential Fiddleback?

1. When I hear Fiddleback Forge - I think Hiking Buddy.

2. When I think of Andy's style - I think of his take on the Nessie.

For me I think it will always be the Woodsman because it was the first knife that turned me on to Fiddleback Forge, and then the Kephart for the improvement in the design that Andy did :)

Thanks everyone for the replies!

For me, the initial, obvious answer is the Bushfinger. It was my first Fiddleback, and Andy himself describes it as such.

But I think my true answer would be the Kephart. It takes b@lls made out of O2 for a guy to redesign a classic knife like the Kephart, calling the original "basic and under-inspiring". But Andy did so, and knocks it out of the park with the redesign.

For me, the ultra-pointy spearpoint of the Kephart (and the Karda, EDKarda, BCKarda, Bear Paw, Woodsman, Toothpick, etc) defines the "Andy Roy Style".

Kephart surrounded by a couple of Bushfingers (Crud, not sure why photobucket is chopping off the handles):

It's the Bushfinger. First Fiddleback I purchased. The one that pops in my head when I think Fiddleback.

In general: Bushfinger
Andy's style: Kephart or Nessmuk
Me personally: Sneaky Pete

I should have just narrowed mine down to the one with the sexy lines and the bull's eye lanyard hole :)

I'm old school. I immediately think of his Nessies, pretty much the only thing he was making at the time.
He had and still has a unique handle and blade style. Today, however, he has a multitude of models to choose from. Andy's Nessies, though, hooked me on his knives. The man has skill  :D

Cant wait to try a camp nessmuk but there dosn't seem to be too many made.

So, all of them? :D

Yeah, pretty much :) Whenever I think of Fiddleback I flash more to specific lines, curves, and the bullseye than any one particular model. Mainly the Woodsman if I do picture a specific model. It was a two-tone handled Woodsman that first caught my eye, that I first noticed something different and exciting in the forum here. Many were making custom knives then, and of sound construction, but many had the same sex appeal to me as an Old Hickory butcher knife. Straight lines, blocky handles, blunted tips. At first glance I liked what I saw in Andy's early work, and was honored to meet him in 09. Granted the Bushfinger comes to mind first when I think of handle ergos, it was the first one I fielded. But visually, I mainly just see the sexy curves and the bullseye of all the models...
