quisk Microtech question

[KC Slim]

When did Microtech change the way they grind the blade on the Socom. The one I might get is dated 10/98 and is a clip point. I have a choice between that and a Socom With the black tanto blade dated 4/99 any help would be much apreciated.

KC-

Valmet over in the Automatics forum could give you the straight info from the beginning, but those 2 blades were optional on Socom's I believe. You could get either year with either blade.

It's the same with the new Socom Elite's.
