I have been working on this quiver for the past couple of days. This is the first quiver I have made. It isn't perfect but I learned a lot that will help if I ever decide to make another.

It is almost done. I'm going to attach some decorative crap to the end of the lace on top. Probably a badger claw and some horn or wood beads.

Still need to make the bottom wood part to keep the arrows from falling out.

The top doesn't line up. Before I dyed it I marked the bit that needed to be trimmed but forgot to do it. Too late now....oh well. The inside is lined with doeskin and topped off with latigo lace.

I though about how I wanted to attach extra crap. I put in some rivets so my BRKT Mikro Canadian can be attached.

I also put 2 rivets on the other side. I plan on making a pouch or another sheath with the same spacing.

Here are the straps. The rivets on the strap are the same spacing as those on the left side of the quiver. The design lets me wear the quiver over the left or right shoulder. I stole the idea from a guy on another forum that makes incredible quivers.:

More strap detail. I thought these buckles were cool as heck.

I think it turned out all right. Not bad for a first quiver and having no pattern to work from. I might do a stalker or hip quiver....those would be easier. Lacing up this style is kind of a PITA.

Looks awesome bro!

Very well thought out. That buckle is great as well:thumbup::thumbup:

Beautiful work, very nice stitching! Mine goes behind the back on the right side, with a chest strap, lined it with fur to keep things from rattling around too much.

Good job. every one you make will just get better, but you will aways like the first one. I made my first quiver 30+ years ago out of a box of scrap leather and it is still my most used quiver.

very nice B... that came out great man.... i see many more quiver projects for you in the future...

i really like the color...

Wow Bruce that looks great. I am glad to see you chose to lace it up like that looks cool, The stitching looks awesome, and the straps look very tough.

I like that attatchment idea too. The rivets will work well, an look fine when nothing is attatched to it.

What booze did you use for the color? Looks awesome all around.

Yeah I don't give a hang if it isn't perfect. It holds arrows and that is all it needs to do.

I dunno. I think I'd want to start with a pattern next time. I'd also dye the whole thing before putting on the straps. It's easier to do one big square without all the stuff in the way.

The color is dark brown and whiskey. My roomate ran out of bourbon so I picked up a pint of McCormicks. I had to explain to the guy at the liquor store that I wasn't going to drink that crap.

OK, it's finally done. Made the bottom out of bocote and birdseye maple. Added a badger claw for decoration and made up another sheath to go with it.

man.. that came out great B... i love the double knife combo...

I don't plan on always having two knives strapped to it. But I thought it would be cool to be able to carry different knives. I think next I might make a little pouch to hold extra points and some other doo dads.

The next one I make will be for my nephew. He is 9 and got a bow this summer. His will be a lot simpler.

Good Lord Bruce!!! That is beautiful bro!
