sorry to thread jack for a second, but since i love my 1910 and eagerly await the new black version i have a question for thomas.

http://www.kershawknives.com/productdetails.php?id=453 shows under the features of the knife as one of them being titanium. i was curious if this meant a ti-nitride coated blade (which i thought was only for handles) or if there is a part of the knife that is titanium? thanks in advance.
 
hey a man can hope right? I would love a TI handled RAM in the same color as the ZDP cyclone handles. with some Ebony wood scales.....oh and its gotta be ZDP composite :)
 
I love the design of my Kershaw 1910ST, its almost perfect, almost. I've had the knife for three months now and I've been happy with it. But I do have one problem, the blade on the knife doesn't hold up to my expectations. The serrations almost immediately started bending with normal use currently one of the serrations has broken off. I don't know if I got a bad blade that wasn't up to specifications. I have contacted Kershaw and they quickly responded saying that they would replace the knife. I must say this is great customer service, I'm waiting back to here about the new R.A.M. with 14C268N stainless as a replacement, I'm curious as to how it is different than the 13C26.

Just wanting some opinions on the subject, I think the overall design of the knife is great, but I'm wondering if my blade is flawed.
 
i would say so. ive never had any problem with kershaw serrations and i've used them pretty hard. send it in to kershaw and they will fix it right up for you :)
 
i am proud to say i' the proud owner of a R.A.M.!!!! :) it came up with the big storm from texas that put my electric out for almost three days! :D now most stop buying knives and get camera. :D
