It won't have a Speedsafe. Don't know about the second part.

As stated above there is no speedsafe, and as far as the lock goes the Hawks designs are regarded very well as far as the locks it seems. I have a Hawk designed knife and cannot see any way the DOG could fail in the time I have had it. This is one of the reasons I'm excited about it, should be a great blade!

Anyone know if the R.A.M. will have a flat grind? I would really prefer that to a hollow grind.
