To my knowledge, this is the only Model 10 Ron Clark ever made in S90V. Heat treated by Paul Bos. 5 1/4" blade, approx. 3/16" thick. Presentation desert ironwood burl handle slabs with mosaic pins. Comes with beautiful basketweave-tooled leather pouch sheath. This is an incredibly comfortable knife for medium-size hands, in an incredibly good steel, with excellent balance, and heat treated by The Master.

$400 shipped in USA, money orders only.
$350 shipped.
$325 shipped.
$295 SOLD

Price reduced $50 and added a couple of pics, including the nice sheath. This is a great, great package. I've tested it on rope, and it cuts like a dream. Has just a few surface scratches on the flats of the blade--very minor, not enough to feel with a fingernail.

In S90V, this blade should have more than twice the edge holding power of premium steels like ATS34. Especially with the Paul Bos heat treat. This one is worth the money any way you look at it--beautiful, comfortable in hand, great steel, affordable price.

I have a 90V from Scott Cook same heat treater. 90V is the Chainsaw of high chrome , high Vanidum and high carbon. The carbide load is unbeliveable.
Did not mean to interupt.

Be well

Not at all, Floyd--thank you. And you are exactly right--the profusion of vanadium carbides with almost 10% vanadium and almost 2.5% carbon makes this the most aggressive of all the stainless steels. Vanadium carbides have a Rc hardness in the 85 range, and the grain refinement in CPM steels is as good as it gets in production steel.

IMHO this is a rare and handsome bargain, but I'll reduce the price another $25 if it will help to get someone off the fence. Where can you get this kind of cutting power, in this handsome and useful a design package, for just over $300?

Now $325 shipped in USA, money orders only.

Where did you guys dig THAT one up from :D.

Yep, think that was the only S90V I ever did. I do remember it was the hand rubbing that turned me off to using S90V again. I had somehting like 20 hours into that hand rubbed finish. It was a nightmare to rub out. Great steel though.

man, I'm glad somebody snagged this one! I've got one in a different steel and it's an absolute great knife!!! And the fit'n'finish is just perfect! Anyone that can find one of those model 10's is in for a treat! :D
