Sissy, my 20 year old cat, passed away this morning. Rest In Peace old girl.
 
Very sorry to hear John, losing a pet is sometimes as hard as losing a person. Rest in peace Sissy :(
 
Whenever I would be in the basement working on sheaths, she would get on the little table next to my bench to keep me company. Or maybe just to keep an eye on me to make sure I was doing it right. Needless to say, I won`t be doing any sheaths for few days, untill I get used to her not being there. I just finished burying her under the tree in the backyard.
 
Sorry for your loss John. Sounds like she was a constant companion for 20 years and will be missed dearly. Here's to Sissy, RIP.

I'm so sorry to hear this John. Twenty years is a long time but not nearly long enough when it comes to a friend like that.

Sorry to hear about that John. A pet is a special thing. I wouldn't give a plug nickle for most people but pets are the best.

I know how you feel. I had to put my 20 year old down a few years back, there's no replacing that kind of companionship.

Fiona is probably chasing Sissy and they're both having a great time. Then you'll get your Sam cat. :)
 
I really understand how hard it is to lose a pet of any kind! Unfortunately I have been through my share of pet funerals! I know it will be hard to go down in that basement for awhile! It's no different than losing a loved human! I had the same problem when Yvonne went to Antiqua, W.I. for two years by herself. We spent a month in our apartment together before she left, and I could hardly stand to be in that apartment by myself for the next two years while she was gone! I only slept there and that was only with the TV on! My heart and sympathy go out to you during your time of mourning Buddy! R.I.P. Sissy, and say hello to Mabel, Little Bit and Holly for me! Hang in there, time is the only thing that can heal the pain!
