I just thought some of you would like to know that today my dad lost his battle with cancer.We will miss him .He sure loved his schrade knives.thanks David
 
I wondered why I hadn't heard from him in a few weeks. Arnold, you will be greatly missed, my friend. How you kept in such good spirits for so long while enduring the effects of chemo, and bad prognosis after bad prognosis, I'll never know.

Friends, my last message from him was about the unexpected passing of another respected long-time member and Schrade collector, Bill Wolfe, El Lobo.

David, please convey my condolences to your family. Arnold was a good friend and a good man.

Oh man Dave! I'm so sorry for your loss, my heartfelt condolences to your family as well. He sure put up a hell of a battle from what he's told us on here, he'll be sorely missed.

We will miss Arnold and his contributions. I remember him for some fine fixed blade knives. Condolences to you and your family. He was well respected here.

We thank you for taking the time to let us know about your dad. We will surely miss him. He was a great contributor and I loved e-mailing with him.
Along with all his friends here a BF please express our heart felt condolences to your family, This family will miss him greatly.

I am new to this forum and Schrade collecting. My very first post in this forum was a simple request for help finding a sheath from a total newbie.

I recieved two helpfull replies,from Irv and your father.And I stuck around.

I offer my condolences as well.
 
Sorry for your loss, and I'm sorry I didn't get to know him better. We shared a lot of the same opinions regarding Schrade Knives, and he will be greatly missed. May you cherish his collection, he was very passionate about it.

Rest in Peace Arnold, sorry to hear about your loss David and condolences to your Family. I e-mailed him on several occasions away from the forum as we both had a passion for a particular style of Schrade knife. very sad indeed, he will be missed.

Awww...no way. This totally stinks. First Bill, now Arnold.

I'm very sorry for your loss, Dave. Your father is a good man, and was a part of what makes this knife forum great.

A while back, he sent me an old fixed blade scout knife out of the blue, just cause he knew my son and I were involved in scouting at the time. I had started a reno project on it. I will be thinking of him when I finish it.
