Has anyone on here done business with R&M knives. Richard Staebler is not responding. I purchased a Jeff Hawkins Back Pocket folder and it has some issues. I tried to return the knife and Richard will not respond. Any help appreciated.

He will not return my messages. I purchased a Jeff Hawkins knife. It was not as I expected. Has a nic in the blade, and I should not have to sharpen a brand new custom knife. He’s active on Instagram frequently. If you have an IG account, you can send him a direct message there.
That has been my experience on a Mike Zscherny as well. I will not be doing business with Rich again. Pretty sad he does not disclose and then have to go back to the maker to get issues taken care of.The last knife I purchased from Rich had scratched up bolsters (not minor) and he said nothing about it. A new, $2300 knife. The scratches were not caused by Rich, it was an artist who had worked on the knife. However, instead of having the maker fix it before selling it, Rich sold it in that condition without disclosing the issue or posting a pic that showed the scratches. I sent it to the maker and the maker took care of it for me. I recommend you do the same. Doesn’t look like Rich plans to do anything for you. Sorry
