I really hate to put this one up for sale, but with my upcoming wedding approaching soon and my funds below where they should be, I'm going to have to start letting go some previously untouchable knives from my collection.
I have a near mint condition R.W. Clark Pelamus framelock folder with blue anodized titanium handle slabs, dual thumbstuds, and a Paul Bos-heat treated S30V blade for sale. The pattern you see on the handle in the pics below is hand stippled into the titanium slabs and clip, and it has a texture that increases the grippiness of the knife. It looks very similar to what I've seen Tim Galyean do on his Outbreak flippers. The Pelamus also has an ergonomic curve in its shape that helps increase comfort during cutting tasks. The dual thumbstuds are inlaid with MOP cabochons. Ron does not take orders, and only makes very, very few custom knives nowadays, so this one's a rarity.
I have carried this Pelamus framelock a few times and have opened one or two envelopes with it, but it has never been sharpened and still has its original edge from Ron. It appears to be in like-new condition. The action is smooth, the lock-up is rock solid, and the blade centering is excellent.
