Very beutiful knife, as usual! I also was wondering about how you lay up a billet to make the radial pattern. Any chances on a quick explanation?? Thanks, Clint

In regards to shappa's remarks: I have a small blade by a local maker who etches his name in without the polished spot on his damascus. I didn't ask if he etched his name before etching the blade or after, but it looks pretty cool, almost as if it just happened there. I still like your scribed in name on that little polished whitetail stag handled beauty I have from you, GREAT KNIFE!
