radius master

I have seen a few radius masters in action. They are a well made extremly versatile machine that is almost impossible to stall. However i coudn't recommend them as a good blade grinder. While they are a jack of all trades they are a master of none. They are limited by the 48" belts, which i know some people like but lets face it if you are going to spend the money why not get a 72" grinder. Their other major problem is the length of the arm with the rubber contact wheel on it,it just doesn't stick out enough to use it to do hollow grinding and others who have seen them are of the same oppinion.Dont get me wrong they would be a great 2nd grinder for everything other than blades,i just know that you can do better if you only want to use one grinder and they are expensive. Not much point in spending all that money and not really getting a machine that can't grinde blades as well as others.:o

Thanks for the advice and your right if, you're going to spend that much the one preferred would be the KMG 2x72. This one would be my choice and thanks again..........Rey

I quite like mine, he has a new hollow grinding jig for it now.
no pic but I turned the 8" wheel into a disc sander using the table from a multi tool.
