I believed that I had posted a good recommendation last summer, but I find otherwise.
I bought a couple of blades and was very impressed with Ragnar's email in response to questions and with prompt shipping.
Since links to his page are shown in other forums, it seems that others must have forgotten to post positive comments here too.
Great guy to deal with! http://www.ragweedforge.com/

I'll vouch for that.

I've bought stuff from Ragweed Forge a couple of times: about a year and a half ago and then six months or so ago. Both times the experience was enjoyable. There was a quick response confirming my order and the knives arrived just three days later. Plus, the prices were good.

Ragnar sells mainly Scandinavian knives, so that's probably why you don't see much about him here. Don't hesitate to buy from him though.

I've placed a couple orders with Ragnar and always got the best of service and great prices. He was probably James Mattis's nearest competitor for Scandinavian knives on the net and yet I learned about Ragnar from James. That's the kind of guy James was.

I get some pleasure from finding a relentlessly peaceful use for a combative looking knife.

I have placed two orders w/ Ragweed and have been very pleased. My first order was fairly large (approx. $300) and he even threw in a few extras. Highly recommended!

Same positive experience as those above.
Good service, Good prices, Good communication.
At the time I never mentioned it out of deference to James.
An excellent source of Scandinavian knives.

Add this as a positive comment. The guy is honest, responsible, efficient and is a great source of Scandinavian knives and Scandinavian objects.
