]I made this as a Christmas gift for a US Marine Corps sniper currently deployed to Iraq. It took about three weeks for him to get it through the US mail .(not bad)

It is made out of a high carbon railroad spike which is about 1045 from what research Ive done on them. They are used in curves and switches for the extra strength that application requires.

It is a pretty light piece and really he liked that about it because he humps a lot of gear. The only problem I have now is all his buddies want one!
