It sure does, Elarski. Wait til you get one in your hand. I think the black on black takes the shallot to a whole new level. Some knives don't get that much more visual appeal with the black on black treatment, but it REALLY works well on the Shallot.
The only other knife that I think benefitted this much from the black on black was the ENER-G II:thumbup:
It's strange, but just because you coat a blade black, you're not automatically going to get a better looking knife. Take the Spyderco Military for instance, I think it looks much more attractive with a satin blade. But the Shallot, ENER-G II? Black all the way! Can't really explain it, it's just a matter of how it feels.
