• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

On my trip this weekend I took over 100 shots of these raindrops. Most of them multiple angles of the same drops. These are my favorites.

Damn B. You're good.

Can you start fires with those?

Awesome.

The second shot (drops all lined up in a row) is my favorite.

Who says straight lines don't occur in nature? :)

Great pics bruche. I just got back from being thunder-stormed out of a hike. If one starts up around Los Alamos before I'm halfway to my destination I generally turn around and go back (depending on the severity). We tend to have violent storms in the area. This was one of those queen mothers. Three-quarter inch hailstorms turning the ground white. Lightning bolts striking nearby. I saw Dingus leap 4' into the air when a bolt struck in his vicinity.

Thanks for the pics of more peaceful circumstances.

Great pictures, they remind me of Ansel Adams.

I went to an Adams exhibit and the best picture was one of raindrops on a fern.

Those are great shots. Though I suspect you actually cut part of your finger off and what we see is the after effect of superglue sputtering about as you tried to mend yourself :) :) :) Just kidding - those are really nice!

How long did it take to wax the leaves to get them to bead like that?
Great pics!!!
