Raise A Little Heck.....

O.P., did you read about the Germans breaking the speed of light? Nevermind the ramifications and if it will toss our perception of time on it's head. I want to know if this will effect the Busse 2-week phenomena.

They haven't...really.

And if they had, it would probably increase Garth's inertia...and the classic 'two weeks' would increase in duration according to ratio:

1/[1-vsquared/csquared]

I'll just have to take you at your word (equation?).;)
my mind is a(n) (uneducated) mob.:foot:

Urquell---You are correct Tony.
Must have been that last Urquell that my fingers quit working correctly, along with my brain. Opps

I wasn't in any way referring to spelling. I spell about as well as Cobalt rides a bicycle.

What I meant was that the Germans have been trying to copy that beer for hundreds of years and can’t seem to get it.

All joking aside that generation could just get things done:thumbup:

Absolutely! I've met many of 'em -- military types, rocket scientist types, even business types. Seriously capable, no nonsense, no frills -- all pure performance.

You've heard the phrase "...if I have reached far, it is because I stand on the shoulders of giants"? These giants were so big, every generation since has stood on their shoulders. Makes you want to try just a little bit harder for the next generation, eh? :)

What this means is we're in serious trouble the closer Garth's fingers come to actual light-speed!! Why, by the 99% point, we'll actually be waiting:

[100*2 weeks] = :eek::eek::eek:

I have noticed that the forums have been well............SLOW....I am home tonight and why not have a little fun:):)

I am excited about the goodness that we will have for BLADE SHOW WEST...and very excited what the Skunks have at the Company store...and also very happy about what we have going on at Busse.... So What are you doing tonight????

Do You Wanna "Bring It":):)

You know you wanna?????

C'mon...............Lets raise some heck.....:thumbup::thumbup:

I'm a little embarrassed to admit this, but I'm sitting around the house on this fine Friday night drinking sake and watching old Battlestar Gallictica episodes online (thank you Netflix).

(I needed some time to do nothing. It's been a really long week. As in 50 hours at the office since Wednesday moring.)

Didn't some wiseguys from Germany or something just claim they broke the speed of light?

If so, God bless 'em. Like Sammy said, I can't drive 55.

This has become a persistent rumor on BF. I'd better look this up.

1) Could be yet another reference to Cerenkov radiation. Just a case of moving an elementary particle (usually a lepton such as an electron) faster than light speed in a dense, solid medium. You just can't get it to move faster than light speed in vacuum. Well described by that nutty Russian mathematician, Cerenkov. A lovely glow...

2) Some obscure reference to quantum entanglement effects, inevitably involving paired photons created in a single process. This one's pretty arcane; won't attempt to bore you with a quick explanation here.

Will post if it looks genuinely interesting...

See you don't know me that well... well unless I'm going to have so much fun that the next generation will go on from there.:thumbup:

But then that may be a speed of light kind of problem for them :p.

In about two hours I'm taking my GF and her son to a nice place in Sausalito called Poggio. It is just about as good as the place I had dinner with Ducci up in Napa. The final manuscript of the book was sent out today.

AND there is an offer to start on a second…..:thumbup:

Congrats on the book. :thumbup: What's the subject? Did you shoot the pics, or help with the writing?
