I bought this knife from the following site:

http://japanesechefsknife.com/SPECIALS.html#Specials

(Search for "RakuZen")

It was made by the Japanese company Nishi, whom I know nothing about aside from this knife.

I paid the listed price of $98 plus shipping. I touched it up briefly with a fine ceramic stone when I got it, and it is very sharp. I used it a few times to open some packages and cut some light items (boneless chicken, an apple). The edge is still perfect.

Detent is good, lockup is solid with no play, centering is slightly off but nothing terrible.

The price is $55 shipped priority mail in the US, Paypal included.

The photos below show the knife in its current state, which is pretty much like new, just without original packaging.

Oh yes, here are the specs from the website, edited for typos and such...

The Folding Steak knife has traditional Japanese Higonokami style liner lock knife with one hand opener lever, 3-3/4" blue titanium coated D2 blade, 4-1/2" black carbon fiber twill handle with blue titanium coated stainless steel liners. (Blue titanium = titanium oxide, like what Kershaw uses on their "Rainbow" knives).
