Ramon chaves 228

Does anyone know the difference between the Ramon chaves 228 generation 1 with the thicker blade and the newer one that is being sold on knifecenter? I have I believe the gen 1 small chaves logo close to where thumb studs are?
 
Sounds like you have the 1st gen second run 228. The one out now is 2nd gen second run and comes with full titanium hardware available in stone washed and bead blasted blades.
