Greetings to all! Hope you're staying warm and the lights are on! I have a tribute to the iconic Alaska Skinner (Model 11) style up today. Hope you like it!
Steel is 3/16” x 11/4” in Procut with HT at 61/62. Hand sanded to 600 grit for a fine satin finish. The edge was at .010” before sharpening. Balances on the spacer.
Dimensions: 9 1/8” OAL, Tip to bolster: 4 5/8” with a 3 5/8” cutting edge
It has a leather and light colored ironwood handle with a brass guard and pommel. Patriotic G10 spacers to commemorate our 250th birthday. The handle feels great in my average sized hand with plenty of room for larger paws. It is heavily oiled and waxed.
