I've owned a couple of Randall Knives and I'm just wondering what everybody else thinks about the whole Randall situation. Have I just been a little unlucky and gotten a hold of a couple of lemons or what? Has anyone tried to deal with them through e-mail or telephone? Just because you are involved in knives doesn't mean that you have to treat everybody like a potential enemy.
Don't mean to stir anything up....maybe it's just me. Somebody tell me something realistic and good about them so's it will restore my faith in them.

It's hard for me to believe that you got treated anyway but with respect. They always have given me great service.

Try going to the Randall Knife Society forum to get answers to questions. That is what it is there for so RMK can keep trying to catch up on their orders.

I will bet you will get any answers you need here ^

I have had at least 3 Randals that were not up to snuff. I did not have a problem selling them for what I paid due to the Ledgend/Hype that they are sooo great. There are better & less costly knives out there Folks!:barf:

I bought a 6" model 5 and was very happy with it out of the box and now in the field. After a hunting season I returned it to the shop to have them radius the sharp corner on the butt and they did a great job and within a few weeks and I would say my customer service experience was A+.

I like you pogo.. you are a realist..

I've looked at them, repeatedly and up close, and for the life of me I can't justify the cost of a Randal

Then don't buy one. Same can probably be said of most high end knives.
