hey guys, I forged this knife from 1/4" 5160. It's inspired by the Randall bushmaster and one of LLoyd Harding's designs that he gave to everyone when he passed. The knife is 9 3/8" overall, and is 4 9/16" from the tip to the guard. It has a full flat grind and an unsharpened top clip. There are some hammer marks remaining on the blade. The blade is right at .020 before the bevel, making it one heck of a cutter.
The handle is a beautiful piece of stag. It has a lot of color to it, even looks like it has some pink in it on the top side. It has yellow, blue, and brass spacers. The guard is soldered on, and it also has a 3/8" brass buttcap which is shaped in kind of a triangle shape, not perfectly round, to match the shape of the stag. This knife feels awesome in the hand and has great balance.
The knife comes with a very nice 8-9oz leather sheath.
I had originally made this knife to carry myself, and the sheath does have a couple rub marks from me carrying it. I now have plans for a sweet loveless style hunter in CPM D2, so I'm putting this one up for sale.
I'm asking $125 shipped for this knife. I take paypal at coolhandluke4@juno.com, or postal money orders.spf to riggins
Post, pm, or e-mail with questions.
Thanks!
