My favorite version of a Randall Made knife is the black Micarta handled version of just about any model. This one is the Model 11-4. It is an older one, with Carbon Steel, brass guard, red white and blue liners and a Johnson rough back sheath. It has seen a little use and cannot obviously be considered like new or mint. But, as you can see from the photos, it is a beauty. Worth of a display case or if you like a great skinning knife, then here you go. Blade is 4" guard to tip and razor sharp. No signs of wear or abuse. Everything is tight. Sheath is tight and looks darn near brand new. I personally love the rough backs better than the new Sullivans version. I took this in on trade because I was particularly drawn to the handle shape and the thumb ramp. Some of the 11s can have a very exaggerated thumb ramp that is quite frankly uncomfortable. This one is more understated and feels great. You can really choke up on it and feel like you have total control. The stone in the pouch is original and unused.
