I scanned an old 8X10 print using a decidedly mid-level quality HP multifunction printer/fax/scanner/copier. Used my Nikon Coolpix 5000 to shoot the Randall on a neutral grey background. All editing was done using MS Digital Image Suite 9. I'd used photoshop 6.0 before getting this new Toshiba Satellite 'laptop' (it actually has a 17" monitor) and didn't feel like dropping the big bucks on the newest version of Photoshop. The program is easy to use, very basic but there are a bunch of tools for it downloadable via the net (if I ever get around to it).
