Not your typical Randall. Collectors and flippers will cringe. This is a new 2021 Randall that I have modified to better fit use in the field. The blade is scratch, ding, and chip free and has the factory edge but has been patina finished to reduce glare and discourage rust. After patina the edges were stropped and both the main edge and the clip point are sharp. The lugged hilt and butt cap have been finished with a fine Scotchbrite pad to reduce glare. The leather grip has been roughened and checkered to improve grip. The sheath and sharpening stone are as new.
This was to be my ultimate field/fighting knife but I found it hasn't replaced the Model 1-6 I bought in 1966 and modified in a similar fashion over the years.
This Randall is obviously not meant for everyone but if you want a mechanically new knife you won't be afraid to use or have someone close in the military that needs a ready to go fighting knife, this is it.
