Randall Model 1

There are a number of manufacturers who make knives very similar to Randall's Model #1. What is your impression of their quality and handling? It seems that the #1 handles very well and is excellent quality. Is there anyone else who can match them for this style knife?

From past owner experience, the Cold Steel R1 was closest in weight and balance, while the old BlackJack Knives models were closest in appearance - there is a new Blackjack line that looks promising, but I haven't handled any of these or even seen one in person to make a qualified statement...
