Offered today is a Randall Made Bear Bowie - Model 12-8. Per their description, it is an 8″ blade of 1/4″ stock. Top cutting edge sharpened (approx. 5 ¼”). I am the original owner - I ordered directly through Randall somewhere between 1997-1999. There was a stated 1.5 yr wait...which turned into about 3 yrs by the time I received the knife (2000-2002). Here is a list of my additions/changes, as ordered. Desert Ironwood, single finger grip handle, Nickel silver guard and buttcap.
This one is unused - I put it in the sheath upon receipt, to test the fit; and have not done so since. The sheath has the original stone in the pocket. It has spent it's time wrapped in the original paper, in the original shipping box - with the exception of taking it out every few years to look it over. As shown in the picture, there is some patina/corrosion/peppering at the tip - I took a closeup shot of each side. There is some swirling from an early polishing of the buttcap, and a light mark on one side of the buttcap (I was unable to get a clear picture; but will try again)
I'm pricing it at withdrawn to US addresses. I may consider international sales on a case by case basis, with an adjustment of pricing.
*note - the original shipping box is not included. The other Randall that I ordered at the same time still lives in it.
