Here is a question. I know that the model one is available with a 5,6,7,and 8 inch blade, but you hardly ever see the 5 or 6 inch models for sale in the various places that you can buy Randalls other than directly from the factory.

Are the 5 and 6 inch models perhaps worth any more as a result?

Does anyone know how "rare" the shorter models are compared to the 7 and 8 inch versions?

I am just curious.

I just know from following them on ebay that "Yes" the shorter ones are harder to bid on and do command a higher price. I bid on two just to see them snatched up at the last minute. One was used for camping and still went at $50 more than new at Nordic. I changed my mind about needing to own one but if you really want to chase one down contact Nordic Knives. Not to long a wait and its new from factory.
