I am selling my matched set of ivory Randall's. I have a Model 25-5 "Trapper" and Model 26 "Pathfinder" that were both made from the same pre-ban ivory tusk. The ivory on both knives is flawless, no checking or cracks. Blades are stainless with NS guards and pommels.
I also have certificates of origin documenting the ivory as "pre-convention" or "pre-ban" directly from the supplier, David Warther. This makes this matched set unique and rare because they are in compliance with the proposed ivory ban. New owner will receive the original Cert of Origin along an affidavit transferring "title" to these knives as instructed by US F&W in a private email to me.
The price for the pair is $2,500, which includes shipping in CONUS. (add 3% for PP) I would prefer to keep these together as a matched set.
The Cert of Origin confirms that the ivory for both knives came from the same tusk. This is a truly unique pair of ivory knives, perhaps the only ones in existence with Cert of Origin for the ivory.
