I did one of these not too long ago and found that I like the blade shape and size, so here's a new one The blade is 4.5" of 0.175" thick random pattern damascus, with a nice deep 12" hollow grind. The handle a 4.5" cut of Sambar stag that had just the perfect feel in the hand as is, and has a rounded pommel with a stud rather than a plate. The guard, spacer, and pommel are highly polished 304 stainless steel, as I am moving away from carbon steel furniture. This knife stands at 9" overall. Comes with a well fitted heavy leather sheath.
