Random Group Shots

Thank you for your kind comments Al - ok my friend, I rudely take that and turn it around in my head and make it as an invite to come and help you oil 'em up one day - just dont blame me if a few - well ok most are missing when I go :D

OH - Well kind Sir - that is one hang of a gathering you've showed us all - awesome!

Thank you Duncan - coming from the "King Of Harness Jacks" I will take that as a supreme compliment! Gents, keep posting, this is fantastic - from Ed's Frontiers to Bo's Snakewood collection and all the others, on and on; when you group knives together you get an awesomeness in pictures that is overwhelming. OH

Ha! Tell you what... if your travels ever take you across the Big Pond to Right Side Up and La Botte, we'll do just that... and we'll round up Woodrow* and some others and have us a Cochon de Lait.

* he claims to know a man with pigs

A nice selection sir :) Take a look in the thread I've just posted - http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1314602-That-Darned-Kitchen-Table-Again! - (spooky!) :D

Yes Jack, an interesting collection atop that table, a very similar jigged bone lambsfoot. Mine is marked 'Newton' and despite signs of considerable age is in good, functioning condition. Would this be described as a 'swayback' and do you know anything about the company? And a nice Pradel. Useful little French knives these, made of good sharpenable steel.

Fine Shadow that one Blake, impressive long Clip blade. And that Lilliput knife...or are all the others total giants??:D:D:cool::eek:

Thanks, Will

Cheers Will. I wonder if these tiny little knives come from those old models/dolls of market traders with their baskets or trays of various miniature items. I've seen a couple of examples on antique programmes ??

I'm fully prepared to get ridiculed for collecting Cutco, but a little zytel handled Cutco pocket knife started it all for me, over 10 years ago. Before that I had given up on knife carrying, because all I ever had growing up were knockoff SAK's that always fell apart. So happy to have found these traditionals. The urge to show them off is irresistible, probably because my girlfriend thinks I'm a lunatic when I try to discuss such matters. :)

Al, beautiful Wheel of Barlows!

SQ - if CUTCO is what you like, CUTCO is what you should collect - nice collection!

OH

Why would you be ridiculed for collecting Cutco? The First Rule of collecting ANYTHING is "Collect What You Like".

Thanks for the support guys :) I feel my collection is very unique. I've got a growing number of ka-bar traditionals too.

Wonderful collection, shootquinn!! Love the avatar as well!! Looks really cool? I hope to see more of your collection in the future:thumbup::thumbup:

I will oblige more collection photos.. Sooner than later! The avatar is a teardrop trailer I own that is polyurethane and weighs 450lbs with a queen futon mattress in it. I love it. It has a Cutco hunting knife and two bladed trapper tucked under the mattress.. ;)

I have always wanted to travel around the country in a teardrop. Very cool. Way to sneak a knife reference in there...lol
