This is "Crystal"...







AKA: "Crystal-pants"...AKA: "Osama Bin Crystal-pants"...AKA: "Sexy Juice".


She's on the "Terrorist Watch List" for the "Hunters Creek North Neighborhood Association", and the constant companion and Guardian of my Mom. (*who is 80yo and in the final throws of Alzheimer's)

She likes to terrorize the Taxpayers whenever my Mom moves from her recliner or bed...and is definitely giving "Sadie" a run for her money.

Yes, they do.

That's Crystal's best "If you get near my Grandmother, I'll gladly remove a few of your digits" look.


She likes my Mom, my Cousin (*Lisa), my Ex (*Denise), and our Housekeeper and good Friend. (*Sonja) Other than that, she has a general disdain for all of humanity.

Beyond that, she has NEVER met an animal that she likes, with the exception of her "Pootie-tat". One night, I watched her chase two 'coons (*the size of small bear cubs) off the back porch. She ran one up a masonry pillar, and the other over the back fence. Either one of 'em coulda' easily turned her into a bloody plate of spaghetti...emphatically proving that "It ain't the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog'".


She's a fat little dog who likes Carne Guisada tacos and Arby's roast beef sandwiches...but thinks that's she's a Belgian Malinois who eats "The Farmer's Dog" and competes in bomb-sniffing contests.

She's a fU<kin' hot mess.

I just received my signature series SDFK. Wow. The basic SDFK is indeed glorious; however, the signature series SDFK is now one of my favorite knives ever in this size! While the weight difference is only 1.38 oz (between my two knives), and the balance point is pretty much the same, the in-hand feel is substantially different. It is still a thick knife, but it just feels right. So so so right. So so so so so so so right. Go get one!
