Holy smileys! I’m good at getting in trouble. I now have learned not to hint about wanting a sheath for a DEK1 more than once in a week. I’ve also learned not to acknowledge the moderation of that mistake, in the BS&T forum.

Sorry for taking up space, brothers and sisters. I’ll have this figured out by the time I own a couple of dozen CPKs. I just get so damn excited !!!!!!!!!

I have seven big pieces of vintage International Paper Micarta coming in next week. They bought it from Westinghouse and later sold it to Norplex. It was made in my lifetime but it's still pretty old. It might be some pretty good stuff. It will be interesting to compare it to the old Westinghouse stuff.

A feller might be interested in VIPM scales for his newly acquired DEK1 and he’s even rarely confident that this is the right thread to say so. (Sometimes “random thoughts” are my only thoughts)

After shipping I'm coming in at an even 17k. For seven big chunks of phenolic. It ain't even Westinghouse. This stuff is going through the roof.

I have a Big Chris with paper micarta scales on black liners... It has a smoother feel in the hand than buffed canvas/linen micarta.

Edit: I just realized that you got I.P. micarta not I.P. paper micarta.

Edit #2: In truth, if I were being honest... I was just wanted to take another knife shot.
