I thought I'd take a moment to thank Nathan the Machinist and steelcitysixteen . My new bowie came in today, just in time to twart a would be attacker. It's pretty graffic, so don't let young children see the video or aftermath. I'm happy to say the tip only swung back and stabbed me once during the altercation. Zero tip damage either, a real bonus when compared to my standard river boat fights. Thanks D3V.

Why would it make sense for you to be able to circumnavigate a flat earth in a straight line east or west, but not north or south? And more importantly, who cares?

no ones done it north south because it's not a ball.
east west wouldnt really be a straight line.... you'd go around continents and stuff...

it would be like going in whatever direction that makes the needle of your compass point toward your 3 o clock if you're going ''west'' and 9 o clock if you're going ''east''

Scary!! Glad to hear that you and your new knife are alright and you are already getting use out of it! I obviously I made the right choice to pass it down to you!! That sharpened swedge is no bueno in my state, so probably for the best.
