Does 18 minutes - 15 minutes still equal 3 minutes?

Six minutes, huh?
At the time, when the forum said my post was 15 minutes old and the other was 9 minutes old, I came up with 6. I can't get screenshots now showing "minutes" since it's changed to a time stamp, but I'm sure it the forum was wrong and not me. If I am losing my mind, I blame Obamacare.

(bless my heart)

Now if only people would utilize it more often and let some of their damn knives go 😏

I have but a few compared to some but they are:

Was listening to this on the ride in this morning and thinking about you guys :)

"Martha has a madman standing hidden in the shadows
He's got a long curved Turkish dagger with a bejewelled handle
He's tellin' her the world is full of freaks and geeks and simples."

I can even begin to believe a shipping company would accept that. Saw some real beauties back in the day that some customer must have thought some guy in a white lab coat gently carried their package 2 handed throughout their entire shipping system. I just shake my head at incompetence like that and wonder how they get through life, let alone even the day 🥴

I work for a shipping company and do a regular pickup at a local store. People drop off their packages there and I grab them on my way out of town. The customer dropped it off that way with a small piece of electrical tape across each corner of the shipping label. It was a smfh effort for sure.

I taped it sufficiently before scanning it in. Not a cpk level tape job, but one more than sufficient enough to get it there.

Good for you retaping that disaster sure to have happened.

When I’d pick up at a one time house shipment and would see that, I’d do the same thing. I’d open it up, add spare bubble packing i carried if needed, and bust out my personal stash of 3M Heavy Duty 3” clear packing tape + 3M 1” Fiberglass reinforced strapping tape on top of that.

All 6 sides would get a complete double wrap by me. I wouldn’t accept a used single wall box either. Had to be either a new or used double walled box. I’d do this right in front of them too, so they could watch and learn for next time. Time well spent on my part.

I didn’t mind doing that. I knew if I didn’t, that we (UPS) would ultimately end up paying the inevitable damage claim on it cause I accepted it that way if I didn’t fix the problem (and my name being attached to that pickup address damage claim too.).

The customers always appreciated & understood it once I explained the “why” and that I was just protecting their beloved contents and ensuring an undamaged delivery.

You did the right thing trevitrace trevitrace 👍

I disagree completely. Musk has proven to be a very intelligent individual, an exceptional entrepreneur and now a beacon of light for free speech.

He’s got my respect.
I've been thinking on this for a couple of days.
I made an off the cuff remark, and I just want you fine people to know that it wasn't my intention to offend anyone with it. So, I'm sorry if I did.

I don't think you need to be sorry - if folks took offense, I'd respectfully tell them to stop being so sensitive. Musk is a billionaire public figure, he is not beyond our scrutiny and/or criticism.

For your penance, you must design another CPK forthwith.

Go forth, and sin no more.

☺️

ETA: Actually, continue sinning and designing. I'm sorry, I don't know what I was thinking.
ok, will do. Fortunately for me, designing and sinning go hand in hand ;)

ps. I like your new siggy

The spirit moved me. LOL.

Fearless leader got a laugh out of it...I got one of those texts after he happened to notice.

ETA: Re the sinning...as long as Jo continues putting on the scales, knock yourself out. 🤣 🍻

Agree with Pàdruig Pàdruig , no need to apologize Lorien Lorien .

Musk enjoys being in the limelight. With his link to constant worldwide exposure of everything he does or speaks of, there is bound to be people who are at both ends of the spectrum and everywhere in between on their opinion of him, as a person, a family man, and a businessman too. It’s your opinion and you are certainly entitled to it.

Absolutely no offense taken whatsoever on my part, and I’m quite sure many others didn’t take any offense either.

Musk is like mercury, anyway. The minute you put a thumb down on his character or what he stands for, he slips out from under in another direction.

He's neither fish nor fowl, imho. I give him credit for what he's good at.
