For me, that’s certainly part of the draw. It’s got a unique and interesting aesthetic. It also offers a significant weight reduction. With that comes a pretty serious loss in strength. Failure mode is predominantly torsional, and depending upon how it’s laminated, can fail pretty spectacularly when done wrong. Not something that I’d suggest falls into ‘hard use’ category, for sure. What's the deal with carbon fiber laminated blades? Just looks ?
Spark is aware and it will require some work...meaning downtime most likely...to restore.Has anyone filed a "Missing" report on the Search Function yet?
Pantera....man, that's a band I missYou'll have to Drag The Waters some more...
Yes it was, I know Eric is a huge fan. That song was playing on the way to the gym.Pantera....man, that's a band I miss
Might not have been intended as a Pantera reference, but it hit me with a wave of nostalgia.
Thank you! I did remember some of your work when I posted this. For me, that’s certainly part of the draw. It’s got a unique and interesting aesthetic. It also offers a significant weight reduction. This weighs in at 5-1/4 ounces. Not bad for a 5” blade with a full sized handle.

Thank you. While I wait for Pre order fulfillment, or new sales/ models from CPK, I get ansty and want to buy other knives. :/Paul (@CPE_Knives) made this one. 7" AEB-L blade, 0.25" stock, bogoak handle. 7oz total.
Similar length as this one, such a contrast (SOD is 15.6 oz, S7)
