He'd say that to Betsy?!"G*dd*mn*d clapped out piece of f*ck!" in 3, 2, 1...
The reason we can't do that is because different membership levels come with different posting privileges in the exchange. (I'll send yet another PM to Spark about this...)My $0.02, if a maker has their own Exchange subforum, it would make more sense to allow B/S/T anything from that maker there, as it keeps it all in one place.
Understood. Wonder if there's a way to have separate WTB and WTT sections within the maker's Exchange sub, so that restrictions can be applied? In any case, I still think you should at least be able to post anything from the maker (knives, scales, sheaths, etc) for sale within their sub to help consolidate. The reason we can't do that is because different membership levels come with different posting privileges in the exchange. As explained in the past: Only Gold and above can sell
Anyone can post a WTB, but only those who can sell, (gold and above), can read them or reply. (Anyone can read their own.)
Trading requires at least a "Basic" membership.
This is why not everything can be lumped together in one thread, and why the old buy-sell-trade thread was discontinued. I don't make those rules, those are Spark's rules as the site owner.
So, if you post a "Want to Buy" a CPK of one sort another in the Carothers Knives For Sale thread, then anyone can respond at any level of membership, and the system is bypassed, and Spark loses potential monetary support to keep the site afloat.
It's hard enough to get a hold of Spark to make changes to the site, but I'm going to ask him if we can accommodate the "selling" of CPK related scales / gear in that thread. (Not WTB but selling / trading...as the system "should" only allow Gold or higher to start a thread there.)Understood. Some people must just really need attention... good griefWhilst browsing the Interwebs headlines while sipping on my morning coffee, I came across the weird pics of someone wearing a single feather across they/their/them (please feel free to add/correct in case I'm not up to speed with modern pronouns!) breasts at some after Oscars party! NSFW or family oriented forums: dare not post in here photos of and DO NOT search Hunter Schafer at workplace! In any case, this' "that's a dude" mentality has now been firmly planted in my own head. I did not spit out the coffee but TBH, I almost did and I reckon that I am far more liberal than most of youse in here! Must be getting way too old for this chit!
Given a dog that likes to do that, and blades that would cause serious damage if they fell point first onto a foot, might want to switch to steel toe
Again, I think of that scene from game of thrones.
I even go barefoot around the house.Strange ... no chew marks on Joe's shoes when she showed a pic.
