Stopped at bestbuy found an hp and a Lenovo we liked, but that store was sold out so the guy helping us sent us to the other store that showed both in stock
Worked out perfect because me and the Mrs had some running around in that part of town , walked into the store and we both always check the open box deals... we found a Samsung book 2 360 brand new with a great price .... we were able to check it out and even the employee was surprised at the price
Here's a tip I learned from a friend who worked at bestbuy .... on those kind of items they leave wiggle room on the price , so I asked nicely "can you go lower on the price?"
He was able to take 100 more off of the already discounted price!!
So we picked it up for more than half off of the "new" price and cheaper than the Lenovo and hp we were looking at
Win for the day! Lol
I call that my, “Bonus knife money!!!” Wife hates it when I say it, lol!Success!!!!

Sump pump?Well rough start to the weekend this week. Had a lot of rain Friday night. I stayed up until 1:00am keeping an eye on the basement. Of course it was flooded (just two areas) when I got up only 5 hours later. So yesterday wasn’t that great. Today, Sunday, the basements dry and the weather is nice. Maybe time for some yard work.
Definitely something nice about being an empty nester at 43...wasn't easy but it's pretty sweet nowman I wish I'd have had kids earlier in life sometimes.
I'd be lit way more often.
All in all no regrets.

Yeah. House is from the 1850’s. It needs a lot of stuff. Sump is on the list but other things need done first. Some years everything is fine. Some years it floods a couple times. I have pumps and hoses. The slab is only six inches below grade in the areas it floods. The yard floods a bit on that side during heavy rain for a couple days.Sump pump?
Oh wow. I was totally assuming a basement.Yeah. House is from the 1850’s. It needs a lot of stuff. Sump is on the list but other things need done first. Some years everything is fine. Being aware it’s going to happen goes a long way towards no damages. Mechanical areas and storage. Everything is in totes and/or on shelves.
About three inches of water.
Regrading the front yard would work but it’s got a bunch of big trees I’d have to take down first.
Also, I would rather deal with a little flooding and buy a DEK2. Don’t judge my decisions.
Same level is basement over on the side where water doesn’t come in.Oh wow. I was totally assuming a basement.
So you effectively consumed maybe more than a 12 pack of PBR during school.Finished with what I had to do tonight!
I'm like a savant when I have an adult beverage ....100 percent on each test lol

As you are unquestionably my bottom bitch, I'll give you a hand with this if you want me to. Got the mini-ex, and all the saw power and cables we should need to put the trees where we need them and start moving dirt. May need to rent a loader or hauler locally depending on how much dirt there is to move and how far. No charge for my time or my equipment. PM me to talk about it so we can figure out if we can handle it............Regrading the front yard would work but it’s got a bunch of big trees I’d have to take down first..............
If you need help say the word I think you're only about 2 hrs away (as long as you're okay with me passing out in your yard and maybe scaring your neighbors)Same level is basement over on the side where water doesn’t come in.
I’ve always said you were a good boss!As you are unquestionably my bottom bitch, I'll give you a hand with this if you want me to. Well, you'd know if you thought we could relocate the cistern, but the tree isn't a problem, I've cut bigger, unless you think there is no safe direction to take it in one piece due to buildings, powerlines or roadways. I'm not a climber, so blocking it down is not in my wheelhouse. Nathan said he was gonna come with me, he loves Ohio, I guess will just have him stay home and make everybody's knives insteadI’ve always said you were a good boss!
I think this is beyond even a couple hardy lads like ourselves. There’s a cistern and a 70’ Tulip tree (3’ diameter). Not weekend work.
