In its infinite wisdom, the elected government of the great state of Washington decided to ban the manufacture, purchase, and sale of these guys today :View attachment 2165004Not a happy day ! However,God bless this amazing country. I pray that we all stand together and work towards a brighter future than we’ve been having. Have a safe and blessed evening, CPK !

This just makes my blood boil. Colorado was such a free state when I moved here in 1991, and soon it will be just like the west coast

That was one of the coolest things about the autobahn; German drivers are well aware that no matter what speed they're driving at, there may be someone going WAY faster. As such, they stay to the right, and make sure to check for fast approaching vehicles, before moving to the left lane.

Over here (especially in Winter), I'll see cars from 3/4 of a mile off, all following a semi in the right lane at ~45 - 50mph.

The whole time I'm approaching this line of vehicles, they're all in a slow conga line behind the semi... right until some moron notices me in the left lane, passing them, THEN the stupid asshat inevitably goes, "Huh... that guy's passing in the left lane... hurr durr... imma do that, too", and pulls out right in front of me, forcing me to hit the brakes, so they can slowly crawl by the semi at 0.3mph faster.

You were following the semi, for AT LEAST the 3 minutes from when I first saw all of you, and who knows how long before that... but couldn't wait 2 more seconds for me to pass all of you, before moving over to the left lane?

My daughter and I would count the number of cars each day that did this same thing on the long 3 day drive to and from Colorado to North Carolina, when she'd come home for the summer and winter break from Duke U. It was SO infuriating.

Sometimes in 550 miles for the day's drive we'd have 30-40 cars do this - stay behind a truck in the right lane for miles, and only pull out in front of us JUST as we were about to overtake them in the left lane, with NO cars behind us for at least a 1/4-1/2 mile. They could have easily slipped behind us after we'd passed, but they'd make us hit the brakes every time. Maybe 1 car out of 40 did NOT do this, and stayed in the right lane.

'Stupid sheeple' mentality.

They're too stupid to be able to think for themselves, so they just follow the herd. Herd goes, "Baa...", they go, "Baa..."

Everyone's going 45mph, they're going 45mph with the herd. It doesn't occur to them that they could pass and go faster, UNTIL they see someone else doing it.

Then they're far too stupid to think, "Hey, I can wait 3 more seconds for this vehicle to pass us, before I move to the left lane behind them. I've already been driving 45mph behind this semi for 15 minutes. What's 3 more seconds? Makes more sense than cutting them off and even forcing them to slam on the brakes IN THE SNOW, to avoid rearending me, while I take 5 minutes to creep by the semi at 45.6mph". Nooo.... stupid sheeple don't have enough functional brain cells for all that. 🙄

It’s not really a sheeple thing, it’s more of an “I don’t give a f*** about anyone else.” In my experience a lot of these guys lose their minds when someone cuts them off but they don’t bat an eye when they do it to someone else.

If the Panthers can pull off a miracle, I might start rooting for the Rangers. Of course that might not be a good thing for Rangers fans.
When we lived in the Miami area we attended lots of Panthers games, most notably in 1996 when they made it to the Cup finals (but were swept by the Avalanche).

We had a great time going to their games for a few years and I still have a puck or two and a couple of the famous rubber rats which used to get thrown on the ice back then. It was a good time to be a hockey fan. (But then I've been a staunch hockey fan since the 60's.)

I don't think good thoughts and fandom are going to save the Rangers at this point. But I will send lots of good energy toward the Panthers to defeat the hated Bruins.

Oh, yoko yoko , it's been sort of quiet since the Knicks beat the Cavs. ;)

Honestly, though, it's nice for NY. They haven't won a playoff round in ten years...and this team is actually likable, (maybe excepting Randle), with no thugs or evil doers. It's a refreshing change from the current culture of the NBA, imho.
Knicks crushed us, and agreed I'm not mad seeing them move on !

Their next series (Knicks vs heat) I think will be a great one to watch !!

Oh, there are definitely assholes out there. The idiots who deliberately accelerate ONLY when they notice someone about to pass them (or as someone mentioned, accelerating to close the gap when another person uses their turn signal to indicate their intent to change lanes), but once they're ahead, they let off the gas and slow back down, etc.

To me, there's an interesting difference in mentality, though. The stupid sheeple aren't deliberately being assholes/inconsiderate; they're simply too stupid to be able to think more than 1 step ahead.

Another example of stupid sheeple, is when I'm coming down the road, and I see them pull up on a side road. There are no vehicles behind me for at least a 1/4 - 1/2 mile. At the distance I first see them, if they turned onto the road I'm on, and accelerated at any reasonable pace, there'd be no problem.

But I see them hesitate (because they're too stupid to be able to easily assess how quickly my vehicle is approaching), THEN at the last minute, their stupid sheeple brain decides to turn onto the road right in front of me, and of course, take their sweet time sloooooowly getting up to the speed limit.

As mentioned, they could've looked up the road when they first stopped. Seen how far up the road I was, turned onto the road and accelerated at anything other than a glacial pace to the posted speed limits, and everything would've been fine.

Alternatively, as they were trying to decide whether to make the turn, they could've looked behind me, observed that there were no vehicles behind me, and waited the few seconds until I passed, before they turned onto the road behind me (at which point, they could take their sweet time sloooooowly getting up to the posted limits).

It's not because they're assholes and deliberately want to force me to slam on my brakes to avoid t-boning them. It's because they're indecisive morons, who lack the ability to think ahead and make intelligent assessments and decisions.

When my dad taught us to play chess, one of the important facets of the game that he taught us, was learning to look as many steps ahead as possible, and consider the possible consequences of each particular action. That concept/practice helps in other areas of life, but it takes a minimum amount of intelligence (and effort) to do that. Some people are too stupid. Many are simply too lazy.

I have always been a really aggressive driver, road rager. Some time in the last year or so I abruptly stopped caring about other drivers and it just doesn't get to me anymore. If someone tailgates me I no longer brake check, swing around, tailgate them, run them off a cliff or follow them home and murder them and burn their house down. I just move over. If someone pulls along side to yell or threaten me or tell me to pull over I just shrug and give them a shit eating grin.

That's good, because there are a lot of crazy people out there, and you never know who you're interacting with.

I don't tailgate or brake check anyone, no matter what kind of stupidity they're guilty of. Too many cases of unstable individuals causing crashes or shooting each other over that kind of stuff.

My philosophy is simple; do unto others, as you would have others do unto you. If everyone understood that concept, the world would be a far better place.
