Random Thought Thread

So random thought.....

I've noticed over the years of trying different folders.....

For my uses, the tip of the blade in line with the pivot or lower is my favorite

Anyone else notice this too?
I've always loved blades like this. I think my very favorite folder blade type is the straight wharncliffe from a Hinderer Half Track. It's pointy, the tip is probably 70% of the way down from the maximum spine depth of the blade if that makes sense. There's still a little bit of a rise, it's not a total straight edge wharncliffe, but with the point below the pivot, you get a lot of powerful cutting ability with the tip.

Any of you guys banking or loan gurus?

Just trying to figure out if I’ll get hit with early payoff fees. Been paying on the wife’s truck for 4 years and mine for 2 years.
Not a guru, but i work in finance. Most loans don't have early payoff fees any longer. Only sure way to know is to review your loan agreement or call your loan provider though. It kind of depends on who you got your loan through.

If you call them, make sure you note the date, time, and name of the representative you talk with.

Minus 12 C outside and the Windriver is steaming behind the cabin.

Theres no place like home
Dorothy just wanted to be someplace else, “over the rainbow.” She didn’t appreciate her safe, boring life until she went to a technicolor nightmare world. The message is, without evil and darkness and violence, you can’t appreciate or even see the goodness you have. Things need to have balance. But, I really don’t know what Zardoz was about.

...But, I really don’t know what Zardoz was about.

I don't think anyone does, including Connery. But I'm guessing the drugs on set were epic.

I think a real crossover opportunity was missed for a mashup between Zardoz and Planet of the Apes. I'm thinking Connery blasts Heston on the beach and then steals his g-friend Barbarella. But then they both still end up enslaved to the chimps, who actually work for the Man Behind the Curtain, played by Peter Sellers and his sidekick Alice Cooper.
