I believe the human ability to Lie is the distinguishing barrier between Human Consciousness and the animal kingdom. Like a dedicated neuron field that almost makes up our entire subconscious in which all thoughts must be filtered through. And in doing so, leads us all to believe we're the smartest person in the room without ever having to think about it.
Or something deep like that.

Great read, thanks for sharing. And inline with what I was sort of thinking, like a natural survival instinct. Strange how it comes about with humans through, From something simple like 'I can skip breakfast, just one more cigarette'. To psyching ones' self up in an attempt to get away with a crime or just to try and improve ones' chances while on a first date. It's quite interesting how we use 'deception' naturally and subconsciously almost daily in effort to achieve positive outcomes or to masquerade our failure.![]()

Dunning-Kruger manifests everywhere.one time, I read this thing, that said they asked people what they believed their level of intelligence to be, and the overwhelming majority, thought that they were of an above average level of intelligence and that's kind of interesting to think about.
I have no idea what that means.Dunning-Kruger manifests everywhere.

I believe it has something to with this: https://www.cbc.ca/amp/1.5486969That can only mean two things: (A) they are wrong, or (B) there must be quite a few very stupid people out there. I'm undecided.
