I've been working on the 450 for the last few hours. I've got it "running" again but it has a massive fuel leak from the mechanical fuel pump, leaking about a quarter a gallon fuel per minute. That ain't gunna to cut it.

I might go back down to Cornelius tonight and see if the truck runs now. It's a Ford. You can't expect it to be logical.

Just an FYI, the Superduty specialty shop here only replaces fuel pumps with Bosch ones. He said they are the best and outlast others that cost more.

I was thinking the same or even the Dek1.
Got my bfk today and I am somewhat surprised that it comes to as fine a point as the Dek. I was expecting less of a taper

I don’t have a DEK 1, but I did compare the FK2 to the BFK and noticed a lot less belly, which is fine for my uses.
