Piers are in, concrete to be poured next week.

The ground water level is pretty high as we are next to the Windriver, so the foundation is anchored with 12-15‘ steel piers on top of the bed rock. The wet spot in the back is where the pier drill hit a water pipe coming from the well (back, left of garage window).

Once I bought a cheap Jeep Cherokee with a blown motor just for the Dana 44, just to replace a Dana 35. Long story short, never did the swap, instead replaced the motor. Now I have 2 Cherokees that I never drive! 😆

My dad and grandfather spent most of their lives making jeeps!

Thats awesome!

Currently, have 3 old Jeeps.

If you ever want to hone your shadetree mechanic skills, get yourself a Jeep! 😆

One time, as my neighbor and I were talking, he looked under the rear of one Cherokee (with the Dana 35), and said, "Your rear diff is leaking". I replied, "That's a sight gauge to tell me there's oil in it!"
