I always keep a bottle of Nature's Miracle Skunk Odor Remover around just in case. My little dog got sprayed a few years ago and my house smelled like a skunk for at least a week. Possibly more, but my smell was fried by then.

I found the only thing that actually worked was a mixture of Dawn dish detergent and hydrogen peroxide. Good luck, it’s a nightmare

Are the aluminum repairs much harder, or parts simply replaced?

Lots of welded aluminum boats up here for running into rocks/ice, but they are pretty thick.

I've noticed with heavily damaged aluminum parts the insurance company will choose to replace most parts

On aluminum repairs you are supposed to use a separate set of tools , and they can be tricky (hammers etc that have not been used on steel)

I forgot the total cost but will take a look at the estimate again when I get to work!

I'm happy to say, my new Ford truck has over 5,000 miles on it now and it hasn't left me stranded even once. That's a pretty good run.

The plastic interior panels don't even come close to matching up. They're off enough that, to the eye, it almost looks intentional

They do rattle though. It had an annoying rattle on day one. Which isn't really surprising.

The old 1997 7.3 OBS is, objectively, a nicer truck.

When Nathan the Machinist dropped his truck off I let him hold a brand new unpainted aluminum F150 fender.....

Wasn’t that one of the Silverado ads? They showed a loader dropping a load of bricks/cinder blocks into the bed of their pickup vs ‘the competition’. Dings vs holes.
