I always keep a bottle of Nature's Miracle Skunk Odor Remover around just in case. My little dog got sprayed a few years ago and my house smelled like a skunk for at least a week. Possibly more, but my smell was fried by then.My dog just got sprayed by a skunk. Do not recommend.

Lots of welded aluminum boats up here for running into rocks/ice, but they are pretty thick.
