I knew a guy who worked as a bouncer. Got stabbed in the back in a bar scuffle, then drove himself to the ER. He had to lean forward because the knife was still in his back šŸ˜®

Said he got quite the reaction when he went up to the desk and they asked, ā€œCan I help you?ā€, and he turned, pointed at his back and calmly said, ā€œYeah, maybe someone could help me with this?ā€ šŸ˜‚
 
A sudden fear of watery plight,
A sudden, urgent, fearful flight.
It does not come the solid way,
But as A sudden, liquid disarray.

The stomach churns, the gut does ache,
Wtf did i eat, for goodness sake?
You race for the relief you crave,
To a porcelain, watery grave.

Not a neat and solid, planned-out stack,
But a sudden, sloppy, liquid track.
A messy, startling, unplanned puddle
The details I'll just leave all muddled.

She located the limb and it had a good bit of rot where it broke off. It wasnā€™t really involved in the work I had been doing but was probably disturbed just enough by the happenings around it.
