Random Thought Thread

Bo Nix is now out for the rest of the POs. Fractured his ankle on their second to last offensive possession in the OT. Needs surgery, so he is done!

ETA: as fan of one of their most hated divisional rivals, I feel very badly for Bo Nix, the Broncos and their fans. What a horrible way to go in this vicious game. That culprit play looked so innocuous but such is football.

Been wanting to try the Cimarron for awhile now, same NOM as my favorite tequila ever (Lapis Añejo) and Don Fulano. Still no G4 Añejo though. Talked to the department manager, and they’ve only ever gotten it in ONCE in the last 3 years. 😒

They were sampling the Esperalo while I was there, pretty good for $20. Nice and clean, will be a good mixer. :thumbsup:

G4 fantastic idk why but Cimarron and I just wasn’t feeling it. Lots of people like it but meh..

Yes sir fantastic stuff. Also if you like or want a Islay scotch aged tequila pm me lol I’ll hook you up brother!

Honestly I’m not a big drinker but I have tasted and consumed a lot of variety for my age! I’ll sip or make a cocktail on occasion. I’ll tell you what you need to try mezcal if you like tequila or scotch. It’s some what a cross between the two (caution may cause heart burn).

The Cimarron is good. Side by side with the G4, it’s no contest, but that’s not fair with the G4 being 2x the price. The G4 is smoother, and ends with a sweet, buttery note for me. The Cimarron ends with a high note, a bit tart, but no burn. I’d call it citrus, and it worked really well in the margaritas. However, sipping, I prefer the Suerte.

Debating another strong (~4-5oz tequila) margarita with the Esperalo to compare, but that might not be the responsible adult thing to do, after about 10oz tequila in the last 3 hours. 🤷🏻‍♂️

G4 has an almost mineral water kind of briney taste i really enjoy

1000000% agree with your assessment.

G4 is top tier another good one is Pasote they do source so it may be slightly different.

Another good one is santo tequila it’s by Guy from diner drives and dive in but don’t let that fool you no short cuts were taken on making this.

G4 is just SOOOOOOooo damn good. It gets me in trouble lol. Goes down way too easy. I probably should have just tried a little of each before dinner, but had ~2oz of each instead (minus the tiny sips wifey took to try it). I should probably not have more now, but…

Make a marg or even a Paloma it’s night a day with this.

My wife had a girls nice out and I started the night out using my G4 and ended using Cimarron and they even noticed after 3 cocktails! It tells you how much better it is to spend a few buck more. For quality.

I mean isn’t that why we all love CPK?!?

My wife had one margarita (only ~2oz tequila) and is OUT now. She doesn’t handle tequila very well lol.
