YouTubers make lots of money and they can deduct their expenses, so dropping 10-20k to get their cards/shoes/whatever is just an investment in their business. Is there also shady stuff going on? It’s also likely.

Me too, I recently scored a used CRK Nyala for a great price because they spelled the name “Reeves” and no one was watching the listing or bidding. The day I got it I then sent it back to CRK where they gave it a quick once over and a sharpening to clean the edge up and that’s that, a like new knife for a couple hundred less than they sell for here on the forum!
