Quite possibly.

I just feel a bit sorry that huge tech companies, investment funds, and even governments are spending enormous amounts of money on all of this, while when the time comes to pay for the losses caused by AI, it will be ordinary people who end up footing the bill.

AI is not a breakthrough on the scale of the Internet.

At least not yet.

Seriously, the fallout will surprise a lot of people.

Current inflation will seem like a joke in comparison.

Both times I’ve been to Bladeshow in Atlanta, I felt like I should have worn full chainmail with all the balisongs flying outta peoples hands.
Coleman, I did almost get nicked yesterday by a careless kid flinging his balisong around near the top of an escalator. Most of the ones I saw were in a roped off area they took over up the escalator from the pit. Flipping around and occasionally dropping them. Good place away from everyone but each other, I spose. Get off my lawn.

I’m glad you are alright. I chalk it up to youngsters wanting to impress, having a good time and not being aware of possible consequences. We were all there once.

I’m glad to hear they have roped off areas now. It’s good for the younger generation to take interest in knives. The younger they start, the better they are later in life.

Don’t get me wrong. I’ve always liked balisongs and always impressed by folks who can manipulate them well.

Hope you are having a blast! I miss seeing all my blade friends this year.

I don't know that it was a designated area , so much as taken over. Better than a dozen kids whipping balisongs around next to the Spyderco booth (basically where SMKW is now). That is a high traffic area. Or the walkways.

Thanks Coleman, look forward to being in the same place at the same time some year!

It's been a long friggin' time. And we're only halfway there in the series.

I'm not counting San Antonio out by any means.

The best part for me is how the Knicks have shown grace and poise, and not resorted to taunting, bragging, or any of the other shit behavior so common in the NBA. It's refreshing to see men that can act like gentlemen from the coach on down through the players and staff.
