The best Venison I have ever had was from a friend I made a Skinner for years ago. He had a tag for S. Dakota & he harvested it near a wheat field where the deer eat the stubble & you could cut the steaks he gave me with a fork. Yum!

There is a big difference on taste & toughness according to diet!
