Reminds me of a trip to Cedar Point (large rollercoaster park, for those unfamiliar).
Standing in the long lines, sweating my ass off in the summer heat and I notice there are BIG fans every so often along the ‘cattle chutes’… but only 1 out of every 3 was on.
I’m doing some quick calculations in my head. The park’s capacity is supposedly 55,000.
Ticket prices vary depending on season passes, discounted tickets, at the gate etc., but at the time, the cheapest discounted single day pass was ~$44, and the at the gate adult passes were $7x(?), so even if I’m estimating $50/person for a 35,000 capacity, we’re looking at $1.75 million. And they can’t turn on ALL the fans?
